fred press was one of the most prolific glassware decorators of the mid century. his colorful designs usually featured 22kt gold accents spanned themes from atomic to floral, celestial to geometric.

i’ve been enamored by his designs for years, and have amassed a large collection of his works. collecting vintage glass feels like a race against time, as each day beautiful mid century glasses are lost to accidents, lack of knowledge, or indifference.

i’m on a mission to collect, document, and preserve as many of fred press’s designs as i can. this archive represents my current collection, which is constantly growing.
